Hanamkonda: District Collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu has directed the authorities concerned to be vigilant and cautious being accessible to the people in the wake of heavy rains across the district. Warangal has witnessed heavy rainfall causing inundation of several roads and low-lying areas.
“The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in the next 24 hours. We have set up a call centre with toll-free number 1800-425-1115 to take complaints and requests related to rains,” he said and ordered that none of the officers leaves the headquarters without intimation and that the cell phones should not remain switched off.
