Heavy vehicles restricted in Hyderabad during lockdown hours

Between 10 am and 9 pm, no goods vehicles will be permitted, the order said.

Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar has on Saturday issued orders restricting the movement of all heavy goods vehicles in the city during the lockdown.

Accordingly, to prevent spread of Covid and for effective implementation of the lockdown, the movement of all goods vehicles for loading and unloading purposes will be permitted only from 9 pm to 8 am the next day.


Between 10 am and 9 pm, no goods vehicles will be permitted, the order said.

The Commissioner however said vehicles carrying oxygen and domestic gas cylinders, oxygen tankers, medical equipment carrying vehicles and water tankers would be allowed.
