Kothagudem: Nama Muthiah Memorial Trust, set up by Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao, has extended financial assistance to a family that suffered losses due to a fire accident.
K Maheshwar Rao of old Mamillavarigudem in Aswaraopet mandal in the district was burnt fully when live electricity distribution lines snapped from poles and fell on the house recently.
The trust members and TRS leaders B Venkateswara Rao and Mandapati Raja Mohan Reddy immediately responded and visited the affected family and extended generous support by providing essential commodities, clothes and cooking ware to the family.
Some TRS leaders also extended financial assistance of Rs 13,000 to Maheshwar Rao’s family. Sarpanch Modiam Satyavathi, leaders Tandra Yugandhar, Veerannala Hari Prasad and others were present, said a release here on Monday
