Hyderabad: Here are the restrictions on vehicular traffic movement around LB Stadium on Tuesday

If you are planning to go to areas around LB Stadium on Tuesday evening, here are some the traffic diversions and restrictions. These restrictions are being enforced in view of the iftar dinner party being hosted by the Government in LB Stadium

Hyderabad: There would be restrictions on movement of vehicles on roads surrounding the LB stadium betwen 4 p.m and 8 p.m in view of the Government organised Iftar dinner, according to the Hyderabd city Traffic police. Consequently, traffic pile up can be expected on all arterial routes leading to LB Stadium and the police advised people to avoid travel on many routes.
Following are the restrictions:
Vehicular traffic will either be stopped or diverted at the following places/routes depending on the need:⁠

  • Traffic coming from AR Petrol Pump Junction towards BJR Statue will not be allowed and will be diverted at A.R. Petrol Pump towards Nampally.
  • Traffic coming from Basheerbagh towards A.R. Petrol Pump via BJR Statue will not be allowed and will be diverted at BJR Statue towards, SBH, Abids- Nampally station road.
  • ⁠Traffic coming from Sujatha School lane towards Khan Lateef Khan building will not be allowed and will be diverted at Sujatha School junction towards Nampally.

Junctions to be avoided between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday:
Panjagutta, VV Statue, Rajiv Gandhi Statue (Monappa), Nirankari, Old PS Saifabad, Lakdikapool, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, Abids Circle, A.R. Petrol Pump, Nampally, KLK Building, Liberty, Himayath Nagar, Assembly, MJ Market and Hyderguda.


The police press release said the RTC Buses plying from Ravindra Bharathi towards BJR Statue should avoid L.B. Stadium main Gate i.e. in front of Khan Lateef Khan Building and take diversion at A.R. Petrol bunk towards Nampally.
