Here’s how Boney Kapoor ‘releases’ his stress
Filmmaker Boney Kapoor says dancing helps him release stress. Recently, he shared tributes to late wife Sridevi and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s humility, recalling a cherished personal encounter at a Lucknow summit.
Mumbai: Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has revealed that he dances to release his stress — and said that it works.
Boney shared a monochrome picture of himself dancing on Instagram Stories and captioned it: “Dance releases your stress is a fact (sic).”
Earlier this month, the producer shared a throwback picture of his late wife and Bollywood superstar Sridevi, apparently from her late 20s. On September 3, he had also posted a photo of the two of them from one of their many trips to Tirupati Balaji.
Sridevi passed away in February 2018 after a tragic accident in Dubai. The news of her sudden demise shook the nation, with lakhs of fans joining her funeral procession.
On September 15, Boney Kapoor recalled one of his most cherished memories with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Taking to X, he described how Modi recognised him by name and greeted him warmly at a summit in Lucknow — a gesture he said reflected the PM’s humility and ability to connect personally.
Boney praised the Prime Minister in a long note, saying Modi “embodies the pride of India on the world stage, yet always carries with him the ability to connect with people at a deeply personal level.”
The filmmaker concluded his post by wishing Modi many more years of leadership as he turned 75 earlier this month.
