Heritage Aviation signs for Airbus H130 at Wings India 2026 to boost regional connectivity
Heritage Aviation acquired an Airbus H130 helicopter at Wings India 2026 to expand heli-pilgrimage, passenger transport, and regional connectivity, including in North East India, supporting both private operations growth and the government’s regional air transport initiatives.
Hyderabad: Heritage Aviation Private Limited, a helicopter operator, signed a contract for one Airbus H130 helicopter during Wings India 2026. The newly contracted H130 will be deployed for passenger transportation, heli-pilgrimage and regional connectivity missions.
Heritage Aviation founder and CEO Rohith Mathur said the new H130 would be used to expand our regional connectivity footprint in other areas, including North East India, which largely remains virgin territory for private helicopter operations.
Airbus Helicopters in India and South Asia head Sunny Guglani said the new addition would not only expand heli-pilgrimage routes in the country but also support the Central government’s ambitions to widen the regional connectivity network.
