Hyderabad: Coming from a family that is deeply rooted in politics, entrepreneurship, and into the field of cinema, young actor Ashok Galla has chosen to make a mark on-screen rather than venturing into an unknown arena. Testing the waters first as a child, Ashok had been slightly hesitant to dive into it during the later stages until the time he chose to take a plunge into acting.
“After I flew down to Singapore, I thought I belonged in the cinema. Learning the ropes of film acting and exploring myself bit by bit… I was purely at home, and now I am here before you all with my dream debut ‘Hero’. I’ve been waiting forever to get here and it’s a dream come true moment for me. After learning that my debut film is hitting the screens this Sankranti festival, my energy went to a different level,” says Ashok.
His debut film, titled ‘Hero’ is hitting the screens on January 15. Niddhi Agerwal is playing the leading lady in the film, which is directed by Sriram Adittya.
Meanwhile, female lead Niddhi is in full praise for her co-star Ashok. “It was unbelievable for everyone watching this young actor Ashok performing on the screen. None would think he is a debutante. He nailed every bit of emotion – action and other performances on the screen. While on the sets, it never occurred to us that Ashok is acting in his debut film. I wish him all the luck in his film career and I’m sure he would go a long way. We’re all happy with the way content has come out,” she shared.
