Hyderabad: Justice Pulla Karthik of the Telangana High Court on Wednesday directed the GHMC authorities not to take any coercive action against Pradeep Constructions till July 23 in a writ petition challenging the show cause notice proposing cancellation of building permission for a residential project at Somajiguda.
The petitioner challenged the show cause notice issued under Section 450 of the GHMC Act proposing cancellation of the building permission and consequential action under the Act. It was contended that the authorities were proceeding on the basis of a draft Full Tank Level (FTL) map of Hussain Sagar Lake despite no preliminary or final FTL notification having been issued in accordance with law.
The petitioner also sought a direction to the GHMC to process its application for an Occupancy Certificate pending in respect of the project. Taking note of the submissions, Justice Pulla Karthik directed the respondent authorities not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner till July 23 and also directed to file their response and posted the matter for further hearing to July 23.
