High-value property dispute arises in Jubilee Hills; case registered
Businessman Ashish Kumar Ahuja has filed a police complaint alleging illegal occupation and forgery involving his family’s Jubilee Hills property. He claims unknown individuals and colluding officials falsified documents despite a 2009 sale, prompting police investigation.
Hyderabad: A high-value property dispute has surfaced in Jubilee Hills after businessman Ashish Kumar Ahuja recently lodged a complaint with the Jubilee Hills Police alleging that unknown individuals had illegally occupied his family’s property and forged documents to claim ownership.
According to the complaint, Ashish’s father, Sunil Kumar Ahuja, legally purchased the house on Road No. 25, Jubilee Hills, through a registered sale deed in 2009 from one P Sreedevi, who had earlier acquired it through valid transactions. The family had kept the property vacant for sale, however, employing caretakers for maintenance.
Further, Ashish alleged that on October 27 a group of unidentified individuals broke the locks, entered the premises, and prevented the caretaker from entering. One of them, claiming to be Sreedevi’s son, reportedly threatened and abused him, asserting that Varalaxmi, Sreedevi’s mother, was now the rightful owner.
Later, Ashish discovered that Sreedevi had executed a Gift Deed in October 2025, transferring the same property to her mother, despite having sold it in 2009.
He accused the parties of forgery, criminal trespass, theft, and cheating, alleging collusion with registration officials.
