Hindi Maha Vidyalaya holds orientation programme for first-year UG students
Hindi Maha Vidyalaya organised an orientation programme for newly admitted first-year UG students on Friday. Principal Dr Bala Kumar and faculty members explained college rules, academics, examinations, NCC, NSS, sports, student activities and other programmes to help newcomers understand campus life.

Hyderabad: An orientation programme was organised for newly admitted UG first-year students of Hindi Maha Vidyalaya on Friday.
Principal Dr Bala Kumar welcomed the students and briefed them on the college’s history, the rules and regulations, and the discipline to be maintained. At the same time, the admission process was explained by Lavanya, the office superintendent. All the departments’ HODs gave a detailed description of the credit system, subject choice and programme outcomes, the proposed activities, and also introduced the staff.
Lt Col Urmila Rajpurohit, NCC officer, reiterated the need to join NCC & Sports, which have become a part of curriculum, and NSS officer Kanhaiya Kumar spoke about the importance of NSS in personality development and its necessity in life.
Exam Branch COE Satyanarayan Rao briefed the students about the exam patterns, procedures, and the memos and certificates to be given to students at the end of the semester and programme. Manasa of Computer Department and Dr B Sree Devi also addressed the students.
