Hindi Maha Vidyalaya wins inter-college fencing championship

Hyderabad: Hindi Maha Vidyalaya won the team championship in the Osmania University inter-college fencing championship at Hindi Maha Vidyalaya here.

Sk Eliyas Oddin of Government City College won the foil event, A. Hari Eshan Reddy of Vasavi Engineering College the sabre event and M. Vickey of Hindi Maha Vidyalaya the epee event.


The results: Foil: Sk. Eliyas Oddin (Govt City College), 2. Ch. Manikanta (HGPM), 3. P. Akshay (IIMC) & A. Sheetal Singh (KMICS).

Sabre: 1. A. Hari Eshan Reddy (Vasavi Engg), 2. B. Shiva (Govt Degree College, Sitaphalmandi), 3. S. Arvind (Hindi Maha Vidyalaya) & Manav Singh (St. Joseph’s College).

Epee: 1. M Vickey (Hindi Maha Vidyalaya), 2. P Vamshi (Methodist Egg College), 3. S Arvind (Hindi Maha Vidyalaya) & Manav Singh (St. Joseph’s).

Team championship: 1. Hindi Mahavidyalaya, 2. Vasavi Engineering College, 3. Government City College.
