HMDA entrusted with TDR issue in CURE and Peri Urban Region
The Telangana government has authorised HMDA to handle Transferable Development Rights (TDR) for projects in CURE and PURE limits as well as Secunderabad Cantonment Board areas.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has been entrusted with the issue of Transferable Development Rights (TDR) for projects implemented by it in CURE and PURE (Peri Urban Region) limits and for lands falling under Secunderabad Cantonment Board. To this effect, GOMs 218 was issued on Friday.
The orders were issued by the government after examining the requirement of streamlining the issue and utilisation of TDR for lands required or surrendered for projects implemented by HMDA.
The government directed that HMDA should process all the TDR certificates online only. A copy of the TDR certificate or proceedings issued by HMDA should be furnished to the concerned municipal corporation or ULB (urban local body) or Future City Development Authority.
Consequent to these orders, necessary changes will be made in the BuildNow system to enable processing, issue, accounting and utilisation of TDR, the orders said.
