Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is gearing up for the e-auction of 44 plots spread over 1,35,401 square yards in the Uppal Bhagayat Layout. The auction will be on December 2 and 3, with the e-auctioning to be held under the aegis of the Union government enterprise, MSTC Limited.

The pre-bid meeting of the e-auction of the plots was held on Monday.

“Beside people from real estate companies from that area, developers/ builders and representatives of companies/ agencies participated in the pre-bid meeting,” the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) said in a press release.

The plots are being auctioned by HMDA on behalf of the State government. Among the total 44 plots, 21 are marked for residential, 15 are for multipurpose use, four plots can be used for entertainment and recreational purposes while two plots have been marked for hospitals. The minimum upset price will be Rs.35,000 per square yard and the minimum bid increment is Rs.1,000 per square yard or multiples thereof.
