Hyderabad: The special drive to crack down on unauthorised constructions in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) limits, continued on Saturday with action initiated against 22 buildings.
The special teams on Saturday initiated action against constructions identified as unauthorised in Peerzadiguda Municipal Corporation, Gundlapochampally Municipality, Adibatla Municipality and Narsingi Municipality.
Since the special drive that began on Monday, action was taken against 82 buildings. Among them, 66 were demolished and 16 were sealed, said HMDA in a press release. The special demolition drive was taken up by HMDA and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration (CDMA).
