HMWSSB clarifies RWH Theme Park closure is temporary

HMWSSB clarified that the Rainwater Harvesting Theme Park at Jubilee Hills has been temporarily closed for repair, renovation and upgradation works. The civic body said the park has not been permanently shut and is expected to reopen after the works are completed

HMWSSB clarifies RWH Theme Park closure is temporary

Hyderabad: The RWH Theme Park has been temporarily closed for around two months to carry out necessary repair, renovation and upgradation works aimed at enhancing facilities and improving the visitor experience, the HMWSSB said.

In response to a report titled ‘Rainwater Theme Park Closed Down’ published in these columns, the HMWSSB, in a statement, said, “It is clarified that the Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) Theme Park at Road No. 51, Jubilee Hills, has not been permanently closed. These renovation activities are presently underway and are expected to be completed within the next month.”


To avoid any untoward incidents and ensure the safety of visitors during the execution of the renovation works, the Theme Park has been temporarily closed to the public. The renovation works are in progress and are expected to be completed within the next month.
