HMWSSB finds 130 illegal connections
HMWSSB identified 130 illegal connections in Kapra and booked cases against four people for obtaining the connection from water board pipelines fraudulently
Hyderabad: The vigilance officials of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) identified 130 illegal connections in Kapra and booked cases against four people for obtaining the connection from water board pipelines fraudulently.
A case has been booked under IPC 269 against four people in Jawahar Nagar Police Station. HMWSSB in a press release cautioned that criminal cases will be booked against those trying to obtain water connection without permission from the board.
Also, those coming across such illegal water connection or finds a domestic water connection being used for commercial purposes were asked to inform it to the vigilance staff by dialing 9989998100 or 9989992268.
