HMWSSB SMS tanker booking service temporarily affected
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board said its SMS tanker booking service was temporarily affected due to an SDC link disruption. Consumers were advised to use IVRS services while technical teams worked to restore normal operations without affecting water supply
Hyderabad: An SMS service meant for tanker booking within the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB)’s jurisdiction was temporarily affected due to an SDC link disruption.
An official release issued on Wednesday stated that the Water Board had advised consumers to use IVRS services for tanker bookings until the issue was fully resolved. “Technical teams are taking action on a war footing to address the problem,” it said.
Officials said alternative arrangements were being made to ensure there was no disruption in the supply of drinking water to the public, and tanker services were continuing as usual. Efforts were ongoing to fully restore services as soon as possible, and consumers were requested to cooperate till the problem was rectified, it said.
