Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Sunday announced plans to release floodwater from the Singur project and issued an alert to residents in the affected areas. The authorities have urged people living downstream to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions as the water levels are expected to rise.
