HMWSSB to undertake sewerage revamp in Hyderabad’s IT corridor

The Hyderabad water board Managing Director, Ashok Reddy, has directed officials to prepare a mini sewerage master plan for Nanakramguda and the Financial District. Acting on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s instructions, he inspected key areas including Gachibowli and reviewed existing sewerage lines.

Hyderabad: The HMWSSB Managing Director, Ashok Reddy, instructed officials to prepare a mini sewerage master plan to improve the sewerage system and develop trunk mains in the rapidly developing Nanakramguda and Financial District areas.

Following the orders of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, he inspected Gachibowli, Nanakramguda, and Financial District areas and inquired with the officials about the current sewage generation in these areas and the details of the existing sewerage lines.

Reddy instructed the officials to prepare mini sewerage plans for the development of sewerage lines and trunk mains based on future needs. He also suggested that they collect and study the details of the existing drains, stormwater drains, and trunk mains.
