Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) has directed its colleges to hold governing body meeting within 10 days.
In circular issued on Tuesday, the university said as per the affiliation procedure and regulations of the academic year 2020-21, colleges have to conduct governing body meetings at least twice a year and minutes of the meeting have to be uploaded to the varsity’s Academic Audit Cell (AAC) portal. The meeting should be conducted in the presence of a member nominated by the university.
“The colleges which have not conducted the governing body meetings are hereby directed to conduct the meeting within 10 days and upload the minutes to the university AAC portal, failing which it will be viewed seriously and treated as a major deficiency during FFC inspection,” reads the circular.
