Home Guard attacked by miscreants in Sangareddy
When Devaiah was handing over the documents, Devi Singh got into an argument, attacked Devaiah with two of his associates and took away his identity card too.
Sangareddy: Devaiah, a Home Guard attached to Bachupally Police under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, was beaten up by three persons in Patancheru when he went to hand over summons to one of the three on Thursday.
According to Patancheru police, one Devi Singh, who owns an interior design company in Patancheru, failed to complete a work even after accepting money under Bachupally Police Station limits. Maruthi Prasad, the owner of the house, filed a case against him in the court. The Inspector of Bachupally Police station instructed Devaiah to hand over the summons Devi Singh.
When Devaiah was handing over the documents, Devi Singh got into an argument, attacked Devaiah with two of his associates and took away his identity card too. Devaiah’s friend, who accompanied him to the place, videographed the entire episode. Devaiah has filed a case. Inspector N Venugopal Reddy registered a case and investigation is on.
