Minister said that the State government and the TS Wakf Board are making all arrangements for the smooth conduct of Muharram rituals at various Ashoorkhanas
Hyderabad: Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali visited the Bibi ka Alawa at Dabeerpura in the old city and made offerings on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media persons during the visit, the Minister said that the State government and the TS Wakf Board are making all arrangements for the smooth conduct of Muharram rituals at various Ashoorkhanas across the State.
He said the TS Wakf Board allocated a substantial budget for Muharram and officials were monitoring the arrangements on regular basis.
Mahmood Ali said a procession would be taken out on the 10 day of the month of Muharram (Friday) in the old city and all arrangements are made for the smooth conduct of procession.
Meanwhile, Shia leader, Firasat Ali Baqri, met Dr A Nagender Reddy, Director, Salar Jung Museum, and presented him a ‘dhatti’ at his chambers in the museum.
