House built with fraudulent money seized in Adilabad
Police seized a house in Adilabad that was allegedly built using money collected from victims in a treasure hunt fraud. The accused, Darshanala Raj Kumar, and his accomplices allegedly duped 26 people and collected over Rs 1 crore.

Adilabad: Police seized a house, allegedly built with money obtained through fraud by an accused person, at Pipalkoti village in Bheempur mandal on Friday.
Police said that the house of Darshanala Raj Kumar alias Raj was seized as per a court order. Raj Kumar was booked for allegedly duping the public in the name of a treasure hunt, claiming to have magical powers, in January. Investigations by the police revealed that he built the house by spending Rs 1 crore extracted from victims. He then gifted it to his parents. He, along with his accomplices, collected Rs 1.03 crore from 26 victims.
The police approached a court, which in turn issued an order to seize the house. Police said that action would be taken against assets earned illegally. They advised the public to approach the police without fear if they had been victims of similar frauds.
