Household survey: 2761 enumeration blocks in Kothagudem district

The Collector said that house identification would be conducted for the next three days and stickers would be provided to the identified houses. All people have to participate in the house-to-house survey.

Household survey: 2761 enumeration blocks in Kothagudem district
District Collector Jitesh V Patil launched the comprehensive household survey in Kothagudem municipality on Wednesday.

Kothagudem: District Collector Jitesh V Patil launched the comprehensive household survey in the 15th municipal ward of Kothagudem municipality on Wednesday.

He examined the details being collected by the enumerator and instructions were given to the enumerator on the precautions to be taken in the survey. There were as many as 2761 enumeration blocks in the district and 150 houses have been allotted to each enumerator, he informed.


The Collector said that house identification would be conducted for the next three days and stickers would be provided to the identified houses. All people have to participate in the house-to-house survey.

Additional Collector Vidya Chandana, Kothagudem municipal commissioner Seshanjan Swamy and others were present.

In Khammam district Collector Muzammil Khan visited Pedda thanda in Khammam rural mandal and inspected the household survey being conducted in thanda. He said that a precise schedule should be designed; date and place of the survey should be informed to the residents beforehand, he said.

The Collector said that the survey would not result in cancellation of any schemes for the people and it was being conducted only for the implementation of more welfare schemes and development programs for the people.
