Huzurabad 2BHK construction in final stage
Inspecting ongoing construction works, BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar enquired about the progress and instructed officials to complete construction for early inauguration
Karimnagar: The construction works of double bedroom houses in Huzurabad has reached the final stage. About 500 houses are being constructed in two sites near Sirsapalli of Huzurabad mandal.
BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar, accompanied by District Collector K Shashanka, inspected the ongoing works of double bedroom houses on Friday.
Interacting with the officials, the Minister enquired about the progress of works and instructed them to complete the construction for early inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamalakar said the dream of poorer sections in Huzurabad to own a house would be realised soon. “To fulfill their dream and protect the self-esteem of the homeless, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao took up the double bedroom housing scheme,” he said.
Pointing out that laks of houses had been constructed across the State under the scheme, he said the State government undertook the responsibility of providing double bedroom houses to all eligible and homeless people.
The Congress government in undivided Andhra Pradesh, which made toll promises, constructed some tiny houses. “The TRS government, however, is constructing 2BHK houses with all facilities to fulfill the dream of the poor,” he said.
Talking about 2BHK houses being constructed near Huzurabad, the Minister said the works have reached final stage and houses would be distributed to eligible beneficiaries very soon by completing pending works.
There was no scope for corruption in the construction of houses. Besides construction, selection of beneficiaries has also been done in a transparent manner.
