Hyderabad: 10-year-old boy dies after falling from building while retrieving kite in Mailardevpally
A 10-year-old boy died after falling from a building while trying to retrieve a kite in Mailardevpally on Monday. The child reportedly slipped through roofing sheets of a shed and died on the spot, police said.
Hyderabad: A tragic accident claimed the life of a 10-year-old boy who fell from a building while trying to retrieve a kite in Sai Baba Nagar, Mailardevpally on Monday.
The victim, identified as Hemanth, son of Mahender and Sujatha from Mancherial district, had reportedly climbed onto the roof of a nearby company shed to collect a kite that had landed there.
During the attempt, he lost balance and slipped through the roofing sheets, suffering fatal injuries.
Police said the child died on the spot due to the severity of the injuries.
The body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
