Hyderabad: 11 Indie puppies adopted at GHMC drive in JVR Park

Hyderabad: The fourth edition of the Indie puppy adoption drive evoked a good response from the people. GHMC organised the puppy adoption drive on Sunday at Jalagam Vengal Rao (JVR) Park, promoting compassion and responsible pet adoption. A total of 16 adorable indie puppies were displayed during the event, of which 11 found new loving homes, according to an official release.
The puppy adoption drive received enthusiastic participation from the attendees and animal lovers. GHMC Chief Veterinary Officer Dr Abdul Wakil, along with other veterinary officials, attended the event and handed over the adopted puppies to their new families.
The GHMC initiated this drive to encourage the adoption of Indian breed dogs and spread awareness about animal welfare, said the GHMC release.
