Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police have registered cases following violence at Secunderabad during the protest against the vandalism at Muthyalamma temple early this week.
About 15 policemen were injured in the violence and two TSRTC buses damaged by a mob.
“Cases are being registered against those responsible and involved in violent incidents,” said DCP (north) Rashmi Perumal.
Meanwhile, police pickets were deployed in communal sensitive areas as a precautionary measure.
