Hyderabad: 15-year-old student dies by suicide in Gachibowli

A 15-year-old student died by suicide at Aparna Serene Park, Kondapur, Hyderabad. The boy was last seen with friends before allegedly jumping from the 19th floor. Police have registered a case and are investigating the reasons behind the incident.

Hyderabad: A standard tenth student died by suicide at Gachibowli in the city on Saturday night.

According to the police, the boy, aged 15 years, stayed with his family at Kondapur. On Saturday evening, the boy met his friends and, after spending some time with them, told them that he was leaving for home. However, around 8.45 pm, the boy went to the 19 th floor of Aparna Serene Park building, Kondapur and is suspected to have jumped from there, the police added. He suffered serious injuries and died on the spot.


A case is registered and the police are trying to ascertain the reasons that forced the teenager to end his life. An investigation is going on.
