Hyderabad: A mega vaccination centre is now available in the city.
Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, on Tuesday, inaugurated the centre at GHMC sports complex in Khajaguda, where citizens can get Covid vaccine from 7 am to 11 pm every day for free.
Special counters have also been arranged for women and senior citizens. Both Covaxin and Covishield will be available at the centre, which has been opened in association with not-for-profit CARE India.
Doctors will also be available in case any vaccine recipient develops complications. It is also said that similar mega vaccination centres will be arranged in six more places in the city.
Around 2.80 crore people have been vaccinated in the state till today and out of which, 2.02 crore had their first dose. Every day, nearly 3 to 4 lakh people are getting vaccinated across the state.
