Hyderabad: 21-year-old beaten to death by friends after drinking session
A 21-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by three friends following an argument over a financial matter after a drinking session in Bandlaguda Jagir. Police said an iron rod was used in the assault and efforts are on to nab the suspects.
Hyderabad: A quarrel among friends after a drinking session turned fatal, with a young man allegedly beaten to death by his friends at Bandlaguda Jagir in Rajendranagar.
According to information available the victim, Aniket Kumar (21), and his friends identified as Rohit, Rahul and Ankit Kumar, all from Bihar, were working near the Reverse Skate Villas site in Bandlaguda Jagir.
After completing their work at the site on Monday night, the four returned to their room and consumed alcohol. During the drinking session, Aniket and Rohit reportedly got into an argument over a financial matter.
During this, Rohit allegedly lost his temper and attacked Aniket on the head with an iron rod. Rahul and Ankit also allegedly joined the assault and attacked Aniket.
The injured man was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where he died on Tuesday.
The Rajendranagar Police are investigating. Efforts are on to nab the suspects.
