Hyderabad: 24-year-old ends life in Nagole after marriage refusal

A 24-year-old man died by suicide after the woman he was in a relationship with allegedly refused to marry him, in Nagole.

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old man died by suicide after the woman he was in a relationship with allegedly refused to marry him, in Nagole on Thursday.

According to police, P Tirumal of Thatti Annaram had been in a relationship with a young woman he met on Instagram three years ago. Family members said both families had initially agreed to their marriage.

However, Tirumal’s father, Subbarao, alleged that the woman had been distancing herself from his son for the past three months and recently informed him that she was no longer interested in the alliance.

Distressed over the development, Tirumal allegedly died by suicide by hanging.

Based on the complaint lodged by the father, Nagole police booked a case and are investigating.
