Hyderabad: A young man died on the spot after the car he was driving was hit by an allegedly rashly driven truck at Nandigama on the city outskirts around midnight on Friday.
The victim was identified as Chanti Vinod (25), a private employee from Veerlapalli in Nandigama, who was proceeding towards Appareddyguda when the mishap occurred. Police said when Vinod reached near Kamal industries in Nandigama, the driver of the truck allegedly in an attempt to overtake a vehicle ahead crashed into Vinod’s car. Vinod died on the spot. A case was booked.
