Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) along with Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration (CDMA) and District Task Forces (DTFs ) on Monday demolished three unauthorised structures under Manikonda Municipality and sealed two unauthorised structures that fall under Tumkunta Municipality.

The action was initiated against the five structures as a part of the special demolition drive commenced on January 17 in HMDA limits. As part of the drive, so far action was initiated on 119 structures which include buildings, godowns, poultry sheds, fuel stations, etc.
