Hyderabad: 30 people suffered injuries in accident in Ranga Reddy

The private travel bus carrying 20 passengers was on its way from Kandukur towards Hyderabad, while the TGSRTC bus was on its way to Kalwakurthy from the city

Hyderabad: At least 30 persons suffered injuries in an accident involving a private bus and a RTC bus at Maheshwaram in Ranga Reddy district on Saturday evening.

The private travel bus carrying 20 passengers was on its way from Kandukur towards Hyderabad, while the TGSRTC bus was on its way to Kalwakurthy from the city.


“At Thumaloor gate, the private bus came on the wrong side and collided with the RTC bus. Around 30 people sustained injuries and were shifted to private and government hospitals by the police,” said Maheshwaram sub-inspector, M Madhusudhan.

The police registered a case and are investigating.
