Hyderabad: 31 patients admitted to NIMS after consuming adulterated toddy
Thirty-one people were admitted to NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad on July 8 after consuming adulterated toddy. While 27 are stable, four remain critical and are on dialysis support, hospital authorities confirmed. A multispecialty team is monitoring the situation closely.

Hyderabad: A total of 31 patients have been admitted to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) on Tuesday, July 8, after they consumed adulterated toddy, NIMS Hospital said on Thursday.
Out of the 31 admitted, four patients are on dialysis support and their health status is critical, while the rest of the 27 patients are in stable condition, NIMS Hospital senior authorities clarified.
“All necessary medical care is being provided. The situation is being closely monitored by the expert multispecialty team,” Medical Superintendent, NIMS on Thursday said.
