Hyderabad: A mobile technician was murdered by a group of persons at Jahanuma under Falaknuma police station over some family issues on Saturday night.
According to the police, the victim Mohd Arif (32) a resident of Jahanuma was having issues with his relatives over family matters. On Saturday night, when he was at Jahanuma, three persons including a relative of his came to the spot and attacked him.
“The trio brutally attacked him with an axe and daggers resulting in his death on the spot. Preliminary enquiries revealed that he was having some disputes with his relatives,” said Falaknuma Inspector, S Devender.
On information, the Falaknuma police reached the spot and had shifted the body to mortuary. On Sunday, after an autopsy the body was handed over to the family.
The police booked a case under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code and two teams were formed to nab the assailants. It is learnt one person was detained for questioning by the police while efforts are continuing to nab the absconding persons.
