Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Cybercrime police on Tuesday caught a man on charges of harassing a woman on social media.
The arrested person was K Rajesh (33), a housekeeping worker from Lingampally in Rangareddy District. According to the police, Rajesh, who discontinued his studies in degree first year, messaged random women on WhatsApp and made calls to their mobile phones and harassed them. If anyone responded, he would start chatting sexual content with them.
While doing so, he got the number of the complainant from a social media platform and called her. When she avoided him, he sent abusive messages to her on WhatsApp. Based on a complaint, the Cybercrime police booked a case and with the help of technical evidence, nabbed him.
