Hyderabad: A total of 270 girl and 130 boy cadets from various districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are attending the annual training camp-II (Pre RDC-I) being conducted by 1 Telangana Battallion NCC, Secunderabad at Bison Training Grounds till November 18.

The Deputy Camp Commandant of the camp is Maj Aditi Singh who is assisted by four lady NCC Officers. The camp is also giving special training to the cadets selected for Republic Day Parade to be held in New Delhi next year.


In his opening address, Camp Commandant Col Ramanuj Singh motivated all cadets to participate whole heartedly in all training activities of the camp like drill, weapon training, map reading, firing, sports and cultural activities. He also guided them to make full use of various guest lectures being organised in the camp like firefighting, traffic rules, road safety awareness, mental health and food and nutrition. All attending cadets will be awarded participation certificates on successful completion of the camp during the closing address scheduled to be held on November 18.
