Hyderabad: 4th batch of Agniveers passing out ceremony held at Artillery Centre
The ceremony commenced with the wreath laying ceremony, where various dignitaries paid their homage to the fallen soldiers at the War Memorial.

Hyderabad: The passing out ceremony of the fourth batch Agniveers was organised at Artillery Centre, Hyderabad here on Tuesday. The event was a milestone as more than 2,600 Agniveers were absorbed into the Regiment of Artillery as Gunners, which was one of the largest courses to be trained at any regimental centre.
The Agniveers post completion of their 31 weeks of physically gruelling and mentally demanding training would be joining their parent artillery regiments. The parade along with the parents was attended by various military and civilian dignitaries.
Regiment of Artillery Colonel Commandant and General Officer Commanding, Jodhpur Sub Area, Major General Punit Mehta, who reviewed the parade, said a new chapter has begun in the history of Indian Army and the nation as a whole as Agniveers would be playing a major role in nation building by serving the motherland.
An Agniveer combat spectacle was organised at the Makhan Singh Stadium where the Agniveers showcased their combat abilities in the form of Malkhamb, combat martial arts, torch display and among other programs followed by a military symphony.
