Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) busted a late-night rave party involving several minors at a farmhouse in Moinabad on Sunday.
The raid took place at Cherry Oaks farmhouse in Pedda Mangalram village under the Moinabad police station limits.
According to police sources, over 50 intermediate students, many aged between 15 and 17, were found at the party, which featured drugs, alcohol, and loud music.
Around 14 girls and 35 boys reportedly participated in the event, hailing from areas such as Gachibowli, Madhapur, Narsingi, KPHB and Kukatpally.
Preliminary tests confirmed that two participants tested positive for drug consumption. Police seized eight liquor bottles and a DJ setup from the farmhouse, which was allegedly being operated without any permission.
The organisers, identified as Kishan and five others, have been booked under relevant sections for organising the illegal event.
Further investigations revealed that the organisers had promoted the event through an Instagram account named “Trap House”, charging around Rs 1,300 per entry for participants.
Police have intensified surveillance on social media platforms to track similar illegal gatherings involving minors.
