Hyderabad: 60-year-old killed in truck–auto collision in Chaitanyapuri
A 60-year-old man died and an auto-rickshaw driver was injured after a head-on collision between an auto and a truck in Chaitanyapuri on Thursday night. Police shifted the injured driver to hospital and have registered a case for investigation.
Hyderabad: A 60-year-old man was killed and another person injured after an auto-rickshaw collided with a truck in Chaitanyapuri on Thursday night.
According to police, the accident occurred around midnight when the auto and the truck crashed into each other in a head-on collision. Due to the impact, Jayaraju, who was traveling in the auto, died on the spot due to severe injuries.
On receiving information, police rushed to the accident site and shifted the injured auto driver, Pochaiah, to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered.
