Hyderabad: The second edition of the 7H Media Premier League, a cricket tournament for the media organisations, will be held from February 22 at the MLR Cricket Ground. Around 16 media organisations will vie for the winners and runners-up trophies. The trophies and team jerseys were unveiled by the Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) chairman A Venkateshwar Reddy, at the Lal Bahadur Stadium on Friday.
The league, conducted by 7H Sports, will be played on league-cum-knockout basis and will have 21 matches across 10 days. Nandi Tyres and Tubes are the title sponsors and the man of the series will receive the Evolet electric scooter, according Venkatesh of 7H media league founder. Malkajgiri Parliament TRS incharge Marri Rajshekhar Reddy, Bharat Reddy of Nandi Pipes were present.
SATS chief Venkateshwar Reddy said the tournament will provide a much-needed relief for the journalists who are busy with their jobs.
