Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Special Operations Team along with the Chandanagar police busted a marijuana racket operating from Odisha to Hyderabad and arrested three persons. Police seized 81 kilograms of marijuana from them.
Officials said the gang procured the marijuana from dealers in Chithrakonda village in Odisha and smuggled it to Hyderabad in private vehicles to sell. The arrested persons were P Raju (37), Y Venkat Reddy (48) and G Praveen Reddy (37), all three from Mahabubabad.
Madhapur DCP Shilpavalli said the three were caught following a tip-off at Nalagandla crossroads.
