Hyderabad: 94.2 grams of charas seized in Serilingampally

Hyderabad: The Prohibition and Excise Department officials on Wednesday caught a man and seized 94.2 grams of charas from him.

Acting on information, a team caught Vamshi Krishna, a native of AP, at Serilingampally while he was planning to sell the cannabis resin to some persons.

On questioning, Vamshi told the officials that he had purchased the drug in Himachal Pradesh, where he runs a dhaba. He came to the city and planned to sell it at a higher price when, on information, a team from Prohibition and Excise Department caught him. A case is registered.
