Hyderabad: So far, a total of 4,286 family members of the police personnel in Rachakonda Police Commissionerate were administered the first dose during the special vaccination drive being held at LB Nagar, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said. Bhagwat, who held a video conference on Monday with all the Station House Officers and above rank officials and reviewed the progress in vaccination of family members of police personnel of Rachakonda.
He said nearly 33 per cent of the family members of the police personnel were vaccinated so far, and instructed all officers of all wings in LB Nagar and Malkajgiri zones to achieve 100 per cent vaccination within the next one week.
While thanking the government for taking up free vaccination drive for the of family members of personnel, he said it is equally the responsibility of police officers to get their kin vaccinated as they stand more chances of infection considering the higher risk at which all police officers work being the frontline warriors.
