Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Friday booked a disproportionate assets case against K Madhusudhan Reddy, Joint Sub-Registrar (SRO-1) of Rangareddy district, who is currently under suspension, for allegedly accumulating wealth beyond his known sources of income.
Based on the case registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act, ACB officials recently conducted searches at his residence and seven other locations linked to his relatives and associates.
The raids led to the detection of multiple properties, including a triplex house in Kapra, agricultural and commercial lands in Rangareddy district, and a farmhouse with a swimming pool, apart from large quantities of cash and gold ornaments.
Officials also seized luxury vehicles and documents related to business investments, including stakes in a liquor firm and shell companies allegedly floated in the names of family members.
