Hyderabad: ACB finds Rs 1.5 crore cash in bank locker of survey official Narahari Rao
The Anti-Corruption Bureau seized Rs 1.5 crore in cash from a bank locker maintained by Survey and Land Records Deputy Director Sunkari Narahari Rao. The recovery comes days after officials unearthed assets worth over Rs 30 crore during searches.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Saturday seized cash of Rs 1.5 crore from a bank locker maintained by Sunkari Narahari Rao, Deputy Director, Multi-Zone-II, Survey and Land Records, Telangana.
The sleuths also found 12 gold biscuits and gold and diamond-studded jewellery weighing around two kilograms in the locker.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Tuesday conducted simultaneous searches at 10 locations linked to a deputy director of survey and land records in Hyderabad and unearthed assets worth over Rs 30 crore.
The ACB team on Saturday took Narahari Rao to a bank located at Shahalibanda, opened the locker and found cash of Rs 1.50 crore. The ACB is continuing its investigation and searches after registering a DA case against Narahari Rao.
