Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday launched simultaneous searches at various locations, including the residence of retired Engineer‑in‑Chief of the Irrigation Department Muralidhar Rao, in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case.
The ACB had recently booked Rao for allegedly amassing assets worth several crores during his service in various capacities in the Irrigation Department.
The ACB officials, divided into ten teams, conducted searches in Hyderabad, Karimnagar and other parts of the State, with focus on verifying his income sources, property documents, ornaments, cash holdings and investments.
