Hyderabad: Officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) are conducting searches at the office of the Exhibition Society in Nampally here following allegations of misappropriation of funds.
The searches assumed significance since former Minister Eatala Rajender, who recently joined BJP, was president of the society. He also submitted his resignation from the post of society president before joining the BJP.
The society has been facing criticism for allotting shops in violation of set regulations for the annual ‘Numaish’. More details are awaited.
